Would you nick testers from the cosmetics counters in department stores?

I have a mate, who shall obviously remain nameless (tight cow) who gets most of her make-up absolutely free... by nicking all the testers from the beauty counters - well, the ones without security tags on, as the vast majority of testers are not equipped with security tags.

She says she always cleans them thoroughly before use, but I still think it's a bit risky - you don't know who's had them on their lips or what viruses or warty things they might have had.

What do you think - a good idea, the depths of disgusting or just generally rank?

Forgot to mention - she seems to get a higher incidence of cold sores than the average person ;-)

It's stealing so I wouldn't do it. If I did do anything like that I think my nerves would set the alarms off.

Probably some Benefit Brow Lift Runks - you can't catch anything from eyebrows can you? (Unless they're Denis Healy-like ones, with nits or lice in them....)

I've had one in all my many years of life - they are pretty painful as well as unsightly.
(Actually I was joking about her getting cold sores - she doesn't really...)

It is theft, and the store cameras will have her recorded, if she has been doing that for a while she will be known and will be spotted the minute she enters the dept, that's the trouble with idiots like her, they don't realise how high tech the systems are and how much effort is put in to Loss Prevention, the counter staff on each House will have pics of her at their stations. LOL, she's a marked woman!!!

Lol and not only that but every member of staff in the store will have seen her pic. on the Most Wanted list in the back Office and what if any of them actually know her??? She's probably only bragging about it, no way could she get away with that more than a couple of times.

i hope she doesn't shop in lincoln. i have a mate, who shall obviously remain nameless (dirty sod) who gets most of his kicks by going round sticking lipsticks and those eye pens up is nostril to tease out a lumpy bit of bogey.

personally i wouldn't touch any of the free samples. you don't know where they have been.
