RAF Regiment - 63 Squadron

Can anyone tell me the translation of the squadron's motto -"Vigilo Et Arceo"?

My grandson has just been posted to this squadron and I want to find out as much as I can about it.

Googling it seems to bring up a reference to a Swindon newspaper with that phrase, but I don't think that is right.

A translation website seems to suggest it is something like vigilant and quiet, or something like that.

It says on the site linked above that 63 squadron's motto is: "Pone nos ad hostem" ("Follow us to find the enemy").

I think it translates into vigilent and silent-isn't the 63 rd the Queens colour Squadron ?
