From the reporting of this case, most people will say, what the lady did was reasonable. Her friend was being threatened by an implement, so she picked up an implement and threatened back.

of course sandy, the police are supposed to protect people while at work ,and no worker should ever be attacked while doing so!!!! what is this world coming to!!!
sorry for the sarcasm everyone ,for one thing she armed herself she was 70 and probably felt threatened as it was done in her house .......although she never hit him with it im half her age and i would have hit them with it!!!! just glad he finally got caught even though it was his victim who saw him in town and alerted police
