Will I ever have any answers on this???
Now then folks, here is a very challenging hard question to answer.........
It's all to do with the title of a TV show which I am trying to remember....I'm still racking my brains trying to get as much information about it for you to ponder over, and I am wondering if anyone can remember the title of this particular mysterious show.....
All I can recall is that there was a puppet called Oscar -it was not an animal I don't think as I'm pretty sure it was a normal man-like puppet, with possibly a hat (I think his name was Oscar, although I cannot guarantee this.I'm pretty sure though,as I don't remember any other name),and I think there was a man who talked next to him towards the end of the show.Might have been on ITV/HTV quite a long time ago, possibly the 70's.
(Most definitely not Sesame Street, but these were muppets, not puppets)
I don't think it was called Oscar and Friends either,as this was in 1996,and Oscar is an imaginative seven year old boy who has two fantasy friends, Bugsy and Doris, a pair of colourful creatures.
Can anyone help me with this please??
Many thanks....

Sorry to be such a long time away from AB,as I've been a busy bee doing this and that, and that and this!!
It's been a bit hectic, with the rush up to Christmas and everything.
Anyway,it's nice to see you again.....a pity you didn't have any info on my question.
No matter,it was really nice to hear from you again.....

Funny you should mention that link mamya,as I had a look on that, and I couldn't find it there.
Seems that it doesn't cover every single show that has been shown.Strange that!!
Thanks for the link anyway.
Yes marval, the rabbit is not the one I don't think....pretty sure on that!!
This show has been on the back of my mind and will not rest until I find out what it is.

Many thanks for the help given JUNKMAN and Philtaz, but alas, the information you gave did not help.
Sorry!!
But,to answer Jemisa though, well, I'm not actually losing sleep over it,or really desperate to get the answer.
If I ever do come to a dead end in my detective work in this show,I might as well follow Aunty Jem's advice.
Seems like that could only be the best option I have really.....we'll see!!
Thanks everyone!! :)

I still had this Thread of mine on my mind earlier today and I can actually picture this man in a suit with this puppet mentioned in my Thread.
But,I cannot remember his name....aaah,it's in my mind somewhere.I'm pretty sure he wears a very smart suit, with tie!! Plus,he has very prominent eyebrows, and looks slightly like errmmm....David Suchet who plays Hercule Poirot!!
And,I think he has a bald top with hair on the sides. But,that's what the image just about looks like in my head.
Sorry I couldn't be so vague.I'm really racking my brains on this....if only I could remember the man's name!!!

Now I have another name mentioned in this particular show.....and I'm pretty sure of my description of the man involved in the show in an earlier comment.
The name that has slipped into my mind is Reggie, and I'm not sure about the spelling of the name either.
As I say,I cannot guarantee that this name is correct,it's just a speculation.
Reggie could be the name of the man....a bit unsure on this.
So,I'm not sure if this helps or not.Hmmmm.....i'll have to wait for further memories of this to slip into my mind.

No it's definitely not Fingerbobs mandimoo!! ( sigh!!!)
I don't think I will ever remember which tv programme this came from.
Never mind.At least I still have a vague memory of it in my head, barely!!
The puppet if I remember wasn't very big.It was a hand used puppet with no strings attached. That's all I know.
The description of the man is in the posted comment at (Tue 22:38 22/Dec/09).
I have finally come to a conclusion that this thread has come to a standstill!!!
Never mind peeps!! It was worth a shot in the dark...............
