Me and my Partner have been trying for 2 and a half years now, he had all the same tests as your partner by the sounds of it, and he got the all clear, they then turned to me and I had tests many months later it was then discovered I had PCOS, so its much harder, not impossible though, to get pregnant, my treatment is still ongoing, I originally stopped taking my pill in June 2009, been under the hospital for about 2 years, I have been on Clomid, which forces you to ovulate to help your chances, maybe you might not need any of this and it will eventually just happen, but if for your own piece of mind you want to be checked out the I would persue with your doctor, and if he says no, then ask why. If you have been trying for a year and have had no luck then they should start looking into things for you. Good luck x
