Well, I was out tonight for drinkypoos (had more than a few) and thought I'd have a wee check of what I'd missed while I was out. NOTHING! you've all been fighting and accusing and posing as other people. It's all getting very boring indeed, and while I probably won't be missed, i'm seriously thinking of giving this place a wide berth from now on. I know it'll be no loss, but for as long as these shenanigans go on, you're going to keep losing members, and they'll be more missed than me. So either face being a more or less empty site, or grow up and stop all your nit picking!

I agree and I firmly believe this is how the AB Editor should feel also. I've said from day 1 that this sort of behaviour should not be tolerated on this site.

Tullia I've said it before and I will keep saying it - some people are favoured. It goes the same for 'sticky' threads. You're right about it all and unfortuanatly things will never change, I've seen neworks die due to the same problem. We can only hope that this won't happen with Answer Bank.

Like every organisation there will always be a 'higher ground'; a 'ladder of rights' which, will influence the editorial staff on this site. It's a shame Tullia because like you I also feel robbed... I don't post on any other sites because I simply can't get the answers. This site needs more moderators to control the users. The AB editors are not online at the moment - that is poor management. I'd soon sort out this site if I had the power to do so.

Maybe this site is aimed at people who are mature and wish to act like unattended kids? I've mentioned this so many times and not once has anyone challenged me about it - just goes to show doens't it. Every time I come here I can't help but think about such things. The revenue is a massive part about this site, it's littered with adverts and banners - which help pay for the site. If I get to the age of 40-50 and start to behave like some of the users on here, do me a favour and pull the trigger.

I totally agree, luckily for me I don't answer to anyone. I take great solace in knowing I'm better than those people you describe so well. I'd be ashamed of myself if I acted like certain users do on this website. Have you noticed how I do not point my finger at people?, that would be childish.

Well said both of you! I only bother in the early morning, for the reasons you have both stated. As you say Tullia, as the day turns to night one can almost smell the alcohol.

couldn't agree more. On the rare occassions I've visited the site, it's like the back of the local shops at throwing out [or throwing up] time. It's a shame, but I leave the "twilight zone" lot be, hoping they'll do likewise! Good morning world by the way!

I took a small hiatus and then came back dropping the 'girl' as I think im past that now lol
I find the site useful in other categories hence the reason I returned but I didnt return under another ID -I have made it clear who I am.

I find the regular users who have other assumed names- which they do use as a spiteful alter ego- sinister and that is AB at its worst.

Those are the users who will ulimately bring the site down and yet the technology is there to remove them permanently.

On a point of your post Karenmac, the site I left was called Ask Your Neighbour, the site was good, good banter, good humor that was until the site had its Salad Chefs & stupid peoplecoming on & the site started Advertising & the contact from the Editor about the Abuse on site was unheard they where more interested in the ads, a few of us said at the time this will be the making of their destruction, last week I went back to the site only to find, AYN had ceased!!!!!!!!!!

I was out last night so can't comment on exactly what was going on..............suffice to say if the two plonkers who were banned from the site would act like grown men, accept that they are not wanted............and stay the hell away, some (not all) of the bickering would stop.

But I suppose, whilst the fawning apologists keep indulging the pair of them some of the problems on this site will remain............:o(

Ed - perhaps you can have a new category, better not call it what it would be eg "Muppets only" or similar. Give them their own hole for their ravings, maybe they'd be happy?

Likewise Jack -I didnt actually witness any altercations although I did bob on and off when the bleeding darts were on but thats another story.Im assuming you are referring to Leg and K nobby -well Leg doesnt come on at all and K nobby does but we always know its him so I dont think theres any fawning per sae but I will always stand up for them if I think they are being poorly misrepresented and dont have the right of reply.Just friendship.Apologies if I am barking up the wrong tree.

kia -its hard to let it flow past -although in the main i do -when its someone who has been entrusted with your personal details and then choose to post them on the internet for all sorts of randoms to see -thats what I meant as sinister.Yeah I was a fool but we all live and learn:(
