How can it be racist. They're not putting notices saying "English Driver" - just "English speaking".... I would consider that reasonable.

Just as a mtter of interest has anybody had a taxi driver in the UK who couldn't speak English?

Not just an accent - that'd cover glasweigans and brummies too

Jake - most of the taxi drivers we've ever encountered late at night, or home from airports, have been Asian, but most of them speak enough English to tell us how much the fare is. That's all we needed to know.
