limewire

hi,
can somebody please give me a link to downloadl the free version of limewire please?
ive had it installed on my computer for some time now and has always worked fine, but when i went to use it tonight, the site wouldnt open up, a message appeared saying something along the lines of 'unable to launch limewire' (i cant remember the rest)
i followed the suggested instructions to solve the problem, but the message still appeared.
i decided to uninstall limewire and dowload it again, but i cant seem to find the correct link to use.
can anyone help me please?

ive just tried again using your link and the same has happened again..!

the message box says 'limewire launch error' - 'limewire was unable to load. please downlad and install limewire again'

any ideas please?

check your firewall settings

sorry, but how do i check the firewall settings please?

You have to unistall the 'old' Limewire, or the new one will not install correctly.

Go to 'Start', find 'Control Panel' and select 'Add / Remove Programmes', find 'Limewire' and tick it, your PC will unistall it. Re-boot, and the link to install should work now.

i uninstalled limewire last night, and installed it again after society gave me the link, but im still not having any luck ... :o(

i know this is old now, but i just wanted to add to the end of the thread incase anyone else encountered the same problem in the future, because i now have an answer, found on another help forum.
1) uninstall limewire AND java.
2) restart computer.
3) install limewire again, which automatically installs java again,
and all should work ok again - well it has for me anyway!
