What is the problem ? I have nothing to hide so I'm not bothered. I believe the US wanted the information to catch crooks , drug and arms dealers. We want to do the same with Switzerland . Would you like to explain why it I should be concerned?

I've just been watching a foreign news broadcast saying that the EU has refused to supply data on terrorists to the US. Is that what you are referring to ? If so why do you think that is a good thing ? I could save many lives .

The U.S would not offer this kind of information to be released about it's citizens, and if it did, then we should look for the contributors of NORAID.

Yes that is a good point the US sheltered and aided the IRA for years but is that a good enough reason for us to shelter terrorists in our midst. We will pay the price in lives .

It was on Press TV and the European news channel. I don't know which news agencies
they use but the first one has previously referred to Reuters. I seem to remember it was stated in parliament a couple of weeks ago that the US had requested such information but I can't remember the details.

What i am against is the constant erosion of my privacy and the reduction of my right to freedom in the name of security. I know most will disagree, but the terrorists have already won this war.

Oh I see telling a friend they are at risk from a criminal turns you into a police state does it. ? You would rather put your family at risk than be given that information. I hope they agree with you . If you had visited police states as I have I think you would't talk such tosh.
