My Grandad severely and brutally abused his kids. My Nan thought he'd killed my Mum at the age of three because of the beating he gave her.

Guess what? They love him and he's one of best looked after pensioners I've ever come across.

just trying to show I'm harder than anyone else, Bobbi. In real life, I am content to leave justice to the state, and would be even if it was my child. That's what civilisation is for.

I'm with you all the way Bobbi, as I've said over-page.

I could never inflict harm on a fly (well only if it landed on me dinner), let alone another human being.

However, whenever I read stories such as this, I always hope that justice is done & the 'correct' sentence is metered out by the courts, but alas, that isn't always the case these days.

Probably why so many people get exasperated!
