No. They'll get long sentences if caught and convicted. They've ruined their own lives, the lives of the family of the man that they murdered, and stolen the time he had left.

It'll doubtless emerge that they're all ASBO'd up to the hilt, are all the products of broken homes and they only did it "cos there is nuffink else to do round 'ere, innit", which in turn will lead to the local community and society in general to take a long, hard look at itself.

Not sayiny you're wrong - I don't know Huddersfield very well, so I don't know what the racial background of the scum who attacked this man were.

Hopefully, they'll be caught and sent down for a very long time.

It INFURIATES me when a hardworking immigrant come to this country, works hard to make something of themselves and then gets killed like this over practically nothing.

a bizarre crime - can't imagine what they were trying to achieve... gladly this sort of thing is very rare so shouldn't be taken as a sign of the times etc just a horrible individual occurrence

^^ I agree with hannibal. Waterbabe says nobody is in charge any more, which appears to be a fair assessment, but it also seems to me that nobody is held accountable for their actions any more - or punished appropriately for them.

There's probably as much crime as there ever has been, it just seems worse because you can learn about stuff that happened over the whole world, not jsut your little village town or city.
