It has come as no surprise that anyone who opposes immigration, has "never met an migrant", is a "Racist" and "ill-educated" to boot.

These are all some of the less offensive labels the "Left" like to attach to persons who disagree with them.

/// It showed that ministers were advised that only the ill-educated and those who had never met a migrant were opposed to immigration.///

/// Labour's accusation that opponents of immigration are racist ///

So areas that the BNP are fixated with (immigration) are the preserve of politicians. And the areas they they'd never get their heads around in a million years (everything else) are done by civil servants.

Right.

I agree those areas that you say, "politicians wouldn't get their heads round in a million years", are undoubtedly sorted out by civil servants, but they are still issues that are fundamentally the Government's (Labour's) policies.
"Labour set out to destroy the right of the British people to live in a society defined by a common" etc etc

An interesting take on individual freedoms. Only a curtain-twitching busybody would define personal freedom by the 'right' to be surrounded by people living their lives in the way you choose to live yours.

You really have to be actively looking for offence to bemoan the loss of a right to prescibe to the people around you how they should live their lives, what religion they should follow, what traditions they decide to uphold

Despite the scaremongering of certain media, each of us is perfectly free to celebrate Christmas and enjoy folk music and watch the Queen's Christmas message and drink bitter. Live and let live. You'll probably live longer.
