I agree. In the former Soviet Union the wives of leading politicians were totally anonymous until the arrival of Mikhail Gorbachev.

In the US the president's wife is usually referred to as the First Lady, which may be more appropriate there as the president is head of state and at official functions she is there as his 'consort'. However it is totally inappropriate in the UK as the prime minister is not the head of state.

I too have impeccable taste in interior design, for it is what I do for a living. In the daytime I wear Prada Infusion D'Essence D'Oranger and in the evenings I wear Michael Kors... I have a plethora of vertiginous shoes in which I will always stand tall and proud, and with His Royal Wagginess, Alfie The Wonderdog at my side. I'm sure to steer this country back to prosperity.
