Hello Tinkerbell - I am so sorry to hear about your poor Grandad - I am guessing the scum that did this was trying to rob him.

I am sure he will make a full recovery with lots of TLC from you and your family.

Den xx
What an awful thing to happen tinkerbell. I do hope your grandad will be ok.

wee update guys...well den they are treating it as serious assault and possibly robbery as they think he got a whole tenner from grandas pocket...he keps his wallet in back pocket though so ...they have arrested a youth...to me this must be under 18!!! apperently couldnt get sense out of him however the sargent called us and said he has reviewed the CCTV and it was a "vicious unprovoked attack" and amazing to watch as granda put up a good fight...ha! go him...but went down with a right bump...SO today hospital have said arm is broken in two places and possibly need pins...i have a horrible feeling that he is not out of the woods though...i have a 6th sense usually with these things..hope i am wrong..they are looking into charging the youth with sectarianism also as wee granda was on way home from a football match although wasnt and dosent ever wear colours....its a sad day... xxx
Y always men!!
