Why doesn't the Human Rights Act get the same publicity as the Dangerous Dogs Act. We seem more concerned with the terrorist than the ordinary citizen. If they don't to be scanned then don't fly or go by sea.

I thought the scanners were a good idea at first but now I am not so sure considering this article. The scanners won't detect the 'explosive plastic boob implants' the Terrorists are working on. And I really don't like the invasion of privacy which is inevitably subject to abuses such as this one.

The chances of being blown up in an aircraft are so slight one may as well worry about getting hit by a meteorite. Meanwhile it's used as an excuse to treat us as chattle, to be done with however the authorities wish. This is not the western culture I was brought up to believe in, where now the individual is of no significance.
