Yet another savage attack

These weren't some hooded gang members from the depths of Tower Hamlets, but schoolboys in blazers who chased a defenceless boy into a busy London tube station, and stabbed him to death.
Even after this latest heinous crime, there will still be some on this site who will try and dilute the seriousness of this crime, by stating that crimes such as this are no worse than they were years ago.
It was only the Daily Mail that dared to report that those in custody are black.
/// All of those in custody are black and the victim was of north African descent and lived in west London.///
Why is this, shouldn't the general public be told? I am sure if they were white, every news source would report the fact.

Going back to you original question...are you sure that you're on firm ground here?
Do you think that all media outlets routinely attempt to hide the race of those involved in gang violence?
And can you explain "our streets"? Is that one of those phrases that people use to imply that there's some social ownership conferred on some Britons, but not others?
Or was it just an innocent slip?

And can you explain "our streets"?
I would have thought it did not need explaining, but here goes:
"Our Streets" the streets in our country, the streets that all in this country walk on, shop on, ride down or drive down.
Before you ask "what do you mean, our country":
The country in which we all live, Man, Woman & Child, White, Black, Yellow or any shades between.
Interesting again to note, that as yet no one has made any comment on my recent link, that of another killing, so close in time to the last one.
Am I the only one who cares? Jack the Ripper's crimes are still infamous over one hundred years afterwards, yet these two stabbings in London a couple of days ago have almost disappeared from the headlines, talk about apathy.
