Who can control immigration?

A few months ago they were telling us that it is not racist to discuss immigration, and now Brown is condemning the Tories for scaremongering, racism and xenophobia.
/// The Prime Minister opened himself up to claims of hypocrisy by insisting people should not be allowed to make unsubstantiated claims about migration.///
This is from the guy who only a few days ago fixed the immigration figures to suit his argument, that numbers were falling.
/// Brown said: 'The question is who has the best plan to control immigration. ///
Well it certainly can't be New labour, seeing that they have had over 13 years to implement a plan, but still there seems no solution to the problem of mass immigration into this country.

They are illegals from Bolivia and have been here a few years.
They are lovely, hard working, trust worthy people doing jobs most native people couldn't afford to take as they do them for a room and a pittance in pay.
So it seems the real fault lies with those employers prepared to flout immigration laws in order to get cheap labour.
On the other hand, in the case I refer to, the landlord is offering offices at rock bottom rents to firms some of whom are struggling in the recession.

Why go to the expense of deportation?
Put them all in camps. Once we have confiscated their valuables we can put them to work while we find a suitable place to send them.
Of course, if we can't find anywhere I'm sure it could be a welcome shot in the arm for the British shower block and crematorium industries.

I am leaning in favour of expelling all non-UK nationals (regardless of how they got here, what they are doing, etc.) and completely barring any non-UK citizen from entry to the country unless they agree to being tagged and micro-chipped. After that, all public transport, government offices, etc. will have screening sensors installed that are linked to a computer base so anyone overstaying their leave to stay will be instantly flagged up - and arrested/deported, naturally. This should permanently end the moaning about foreigners, probably within a year or two........or would it.
>In 10 to 20 years time when all us ''Baby Boomers'' are drawing our pensions there will not be enough people in work and paying tax to fund our pensions.
Yes but unemployment amongst some ethnic groups is over 20 percent.
And there are certain ethnic groups who go out of their way to avoid paying any tax.
So with high unemployment and tax avoidance are we better off with these immigrants.

Karl
how would you stop the micro chips from being removed by the immigrants?
unless you think we could all be chipped? that would solve it because not having a chip would be the offense. And bar-coded too perhaps?
And the chips could be connected to small explosive charges placed near an artery? And they could be triggered by sensors in the street to stop us going where we're not allowed? Or we could be executed by the Police if we are spotted doing something wrong? Wow.
I think I've seen the same B-movies you have.

<<we dont need migrants we have enough unemployed, put them in training for the jobs>>
That's great.
Here you are Mr Jones, your carer is going to help you have a bath and get into bed now.
Sorry it's not that nice Mr Gonzalez but we had to deport him; but here's Jim Royle who doesn't give an @rse about whether you are comfortable or not because he's missing his favourite TV programme!
