We in Canada hear about all the donations from here, USA, Australia, etc. My question is: Are the foreign countries like Egypt, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey and all of that region of the world donating compareable amounts or more?

i know turkey have gave some money but no where as near the amount we have i think its something like �600,000 but dont quote me on it

I've also read that Saudi Arabia, rich beyond belief  oil revenue have given a paltry 10 million.  Across the Arab world as a whole the donations given are derisory given the wealth of many, notwithstanding the fact that many of the nations affected have many of their citizens doing low paid, unskilled jobs in those Arab states.
