Will any political party radicaly change this country - no not unless you elect a radical party and the only ones that exist would destroy the country.
The country is no more "broken" now than it was in 1997.
However if you want to believe those that have a vested interest in which political party should be elected rather than read agendas, manifestos and results that is of course your perogative but don't its not the truth. no matter which political party you support.
As for the Daily Mail, I wouldn't trust them about anything. If I painted my door Blue and they reported it, I would open the door to check.

I remember 1997.
Everyone got up with a smile after a refreshing slumber and commuted quickly and cheaply to a job they enjoyed and which paid them too much money if anything.
You could leave your door unlocked and your electrical goods on the front lawn and no one would dream of touching them.
Crime was all but non-existent and people had respect for their elders, who all lived much longer and without worries like cancer or yobs.
Every morning a roly-poly baker's wife would give you a wink and a ruby-cheeked farmer would hand you an apple. And with beer at just 3p a pint, we'd enjoy a few jars at our community-minded pub of an evening before taking a curry from that restaurant run by those grateful, respectful Asians, the only immigrants in the town.
