As teachers lose control of classrooms
Is the below news link likely to become more commonplace? Every has there breaking point, even though the teacher was clearly in the wrong part of me sympathises with the situation he and many other teachers are in regarding disrespectful kids and little power to gain control of them.

We don't get treated to the details of how he beat the child over the head with a 3Kg (6lb) metal weight whilst shouting die!
I can't help but wonder if they would have been so restrained and sympathetic had the teacher happened to be less - what shall we say? - "one of their sort of people"
