Why is it, that when reporters are reporting on a court case, they always state what the defendant is wearing? What difference does it make if they are wearing a track suit or a suit and tie? It's totally irrelevant.
Courts like you to respect the procedure by dressing accordingly, so turning up in a tracj suit would be considered disrespectful and may affect people's opinion of you.

well think of it like this, if you turn up for a job interview looking like a sack of, then you'll probably not get the job. If you turn up in court and show total disrispect for the process do not be surprised if your helping of porridge is slightly larger! Not hard is it!
