Peerage for Prescott - does he deserve it?
What an insult to those people who are given a peerage for their public services. What did he do? Played croquet and played other games with Tracey Temple - in the office, not even in his own time. He should be ashamed, not enobled. Its a good arguement for getting rid of the Lords.

He was a laughing stock as a Minister, and will be as a Lord.
The Government attitudes to his philandering, and his loutish assault of a man in the street as ' ... it's just John ...' were as inexcusable then, as his peerage is now.
