Help quick C.V advice for mum returning to work
9 Answers
Hi guys can you help me out with something please.
I am writing a C.V up with my mother for her to get back into work. She has some work experience but not alot and has mostly been a mum/house person all her life. The c.v is done and looks pretty good but I need a reason/statement for why she is leaving her current employer. Basically she took a part-time/term-time job a couple of months ago to get herself back into working life, but needs a full time job to support herself. What can I put on the statement to explain the reason for leaving?
If I put 'because it is part-time' she will look daft for taking it knowing she needed full time work
If I put 'for experience'she will look like she will take any job and not really care about it?
Help
Thanks

Many employers will be glad of somebody like your mum; having brought up kids she will most definitely be hard working, practical, trustworthy and efficient in the world of work and this should be stated on the CV without doubt. Good luck mum!!
