Criminals and gun licenses.

We are told gun permits are only issued to people of good character and yet Derick Bird who had several convictions for theft was still given gun licenses in 95 and 2007.
Should known criminals be given licenses or if they had them before committing an offence should the gun permit be withdrawn.?

You say you assume the teacher 'snapped' but anyone else who dare suggest that Derrick Bird 'snapped' is just forming an opinion/making a calculated assumption are they?

Our neighbour threatened to kill us with a gun. The Police did NOTHING but still allowed him to keep his gun's. He is 78 years old, going deaf and disabled. He drives around every day looking for dog's to kill with a loaded gun in his Land Rover. The Police know this but still do nothing.
