Why more left-wing posters?

Why are there more Left-Wing posters on this site than Right-Wingers?

Since there seems to be more questions and answers posted during week day working hours, could it be that they are mainly public sector workers who have the time on their hands to indulge?

Precisly Steve, everyone has there own opinion and if you take the budget as a case in point there are so many points that you will agree with some not with others and feel neutral about others.

I can post during the day partly because I am still convalescing after an accident just before christmas and partly because when I am in the office I can do what the feck I like!
That's because I am the boss of a successful and very profitable business, so sorry if that spoils any of this silly lefty-public sector generalisations.

My daughter works in the Public Sector with social services and politically she is slightly Left of Atilla the Hun and very hard worked.

It is obviously nonsense to assume that public sector staff are either under worked or left wing.

If there is a left leaning mix of views on AB perhaps it is just a reflection of the fact that British people predominantly take a reasonable, tolerant and questioning approach to things with little tolerance for dogma or bully boy ranting.

A Right-Winger has only to be a moderate Right-Winger for the Left to hurl abuse and insults at them calling them 'Fascists' 'Racists' etc.

Yet there are many moderate Right wingers who will cry down the Extreme Right, if the need arises.

But it hardly ever happens that an ordinary Left-Winger will cry down extreme Left-Wingers ie Communists, because they are all much of the same.

Certainly, the right-wing posts on AB seem the ones most likely to show lower literacy, bad spelling, poor syntax, etc, compared with the left-wing ones.

I'd be interested to know how the topic poster has arrived at the "more AB left wingers" conclusion. In my experience the right-wingers, plus some I'd pretty much classify as bigots, seem the most numerous and vocal on here, but maybe you tend to notice opposing views more.

By the way, by the same token that the poster says right-wingers get besieged by the same old accusations by lefties, you don't need to oppose a right-wing view on here anything more than mildly before you're dismissed as a pinko do-gooding Guardian-reading museli-munching bleeding-heart etc etc etc liberal (yoghurt and museli crop up a lot in those posts)
