Aren't you glad you voted Tory?

Wot?! You didn't vote Tory? I thought not. Trying to find a Tory voter is like trying to find a Nazi in Germany. They're all there but no-one wants to admit it. Naughty, naughty Labour weren't they? Wasted money bailing out the banks. Saving all those job losses. Guaranteeing peoples savings. Making sure lots of companies accounts didn't go down the pan at the same time. Reducing mortgage payments for house buyers. Setting up starter payments for new-born children. Then, the new government said things were worse than they thought. They never mentioned this possibility on the campaign trail did they? What you are seeing now is Thatcherism by any other name. But this lot don't have a large majority like she did. You voted Tory. And you is gonna pay!!!!

Well cazzz, they didn't have a majority, that's why we have a coalition government now! They have had to work with the Liberals to get some power, but they are only keeping them onside, the Liberals have sold out to them, and it's a shame that they have now lost their credibility because of it!........they will just give the libs enough to keep them onside, but at the end of the day, it's a conservative government..........not good for us working folk!..................
10Clarion, I voted Tory, and I would again, ANYTHING but Labour, they are always bringing this country into debt, The last time they came into power the left us with billions in debt, and lo and behold they've done it again, Their barmy PC stance, the Iraq war, toadying up to Bush. All those U-turn policies they made until they were up their own a$ses. and now that buffoon Prescott is a Baron. God help us.Maybe you are hiding Brown under your bed, no-one has seen him since he was winkled out of No10. We are all going to pay heavily for the last Governments failures.
If Labour had not spent money as though there were no tomorrow then we would not need this.
And dont convince yourself that if Labour had got in they would not have done something very similar.
Most of the countries of Europe have been over spending for decades. Greece, Spain, Portugal , Ireland, Iceland have all had major economic problems.
I we had not done something then we would finish up in the same boat as Greece.
Any idiot can spend money recklessly like Brown did, to try to make themselves popular (that did not work did it) but it takes guts to "cut up your credit card" and try to sort out your debts.

Gran, I agree with some of your comments, but come on now, the Tories have always and always will, make the rich richer and the poor poorer, they always have looked after their own and always will!!!!!! They don't live in our world, and will never understand the lives of folk living on under £100,000 a year income, that's the way it is!..
I voted tory, I would do it again as well. labour just spend public money on loopy policies to make themselves popular, obviously now the coffers are empty its time for the reality to bite...naturally lets blame the people who are trying to claw back the money from labours spending spree on all that is wrong.
