He is appointing an official to investigate FaceBooks allowing over 20,000 nutcases to put up anti police messages and hailing Moat as a hero!
Good for you Cam,
This is not another Raoul Moat thread but a one showing the sad twisted element of today's society, I chose to post it here and not News, because it isn't News, it is sickos flexing their muscles!

I don't use FB so haven't seen the thread nor do I want to - there are some unpleasantly strange people out there.
We too thought the lad done well today Bobbi (:-))
Sorry, but I disagree. What a waste of taxpayers money. Just let the 20,000 window-lickers have their moment. Ignore the retards and they'll slink back under their rocks.
Those hailing Moat as a 'hero' and 'legend' are probably fellow police haters

me neither now boxy, it doesn't interest me but it appears to be a blackboard for these weirdos
Quite agree, Bobbisox. Just said to the other half, it's a refreshing change to hear a PM not afraid to speak out. Blair would have been wringing his hands and apologising for everything.

I'm afraid you are right bob, but whether you don't like the police or you do, such messages of hate and disrespect when an Officer is now permanently blind, a lad is dead and girl serious in hospital?
What has happened to FREE SPEECH,that is what are fathers fought for.

? ttfn <smiles>
I to was impressed when he said in Q time today that Moat was a cold blooded killer.

If I lived in Rotherby (spelling) I would pour petrol on the flowers that have been laid where he shot himself and set them alight.
Question Author
there is FREE SPEECH in the right context, this is just hate and disrespect
Really? you satisfy easy.

He knows the world is littered with the remains of fools who tried to censor what people say on the internet that's why it's an "investigation" which will be forgotten next week.

But he needs to say something to satisfy "Disgusted of Tumbridge Wells" who spat cornflakes all over their Daily Mail this morning.
Question Author
trt, these morons are making a shrine to him by posting their vile posts in FB
Question Author
now I know why I don't post in News jtp
Yes I did hear about it Bobbisox, but wouldn't waste my time reading it.
Perhaps when he's finished sorting out facebook he'll stop spam and ban porn off of the internet too!
Question Author
whatever you say Jtp
Bobbi, don't get me wrong. I am very pro-police, and i'm glad the threat from Moat has been stopped.
But, there are dozens of groups on FB that negatively target every aspect of society; from Muslims to Military, Jeremy Kyle Fans to Fraud Investigators. Such is the problem when we allow people to air views that they can barely spell. However, to waste money and effort trying to prevent morons talking is nigh-on impossible.

The police have always been an object of hatred for the small-minded. They have been arrested, and felt bullied by the law. Or they they think somehow the law should only apply to others. However, who do these 'people' think will respond why they start shouting for help at 3am, because little Shaniqua hasn't got back from her boyfriends, or because Wayne has been beating up on them...

I am just pleased David C has taken this stand against this bob
