Was it Carter Ruck and Trafigura up to no good again with superinjunctions?

Hello New Judge,

I asked for it to be removed because I total mixed up my question.

That was before your excellent answer was posted. Sorry that was removed as well, and sorry for wasting your time.

Yes, that's the one, jake.

I think it was posted late am or early pm today. I provided an answer:

The dumping of toxic waste was actually done in the Ivory Coast, Gromit.

What is being dumped upon the people of the UK (and in particular the Press) is the large number of “super injunctions” granted by the courts which prohibit the Press from reporting matters of interest. These injunctions are so far –reaching that even the fact that they have been issued must not be reported. In this particular example, the reporting that had been barred was that on Parliamentary proceedings, so it seems that these injunctions are even preventing the wider public from knowing what goes on in Parliament.

The libel law is under urgent need of review in the UK. It is being used by large companies and by wealthy (often foreign) individuals to stifle legitimate reporting and debate.

Next time I looked the question had gorn!

Perhaps messrs Carter-Ruck have taken out an super-injunction against AB!
