Does he fancy me...why act to silly
3 Answers
I started a new job two weeks ago as a receptionist
I've met somebody I like who lives in the building...
When I first met him he said hello and asked me a few questions. Last week whenever I was on shift he would come down and say hi and make brief small talk.
One day last week he came over to the desk and asked quite a few questions about myself, etc..we discovered we have a few things in common...
Since then he hasn't really spoken to me as much. I probably spoke to him for too long...and since then he always has a girl in tow…which he didn't have before...
In the last three times I’ve seen him he’s got this stupid grin and always says my name…makes a point of saying my name…
When he comes down he always has a girl with him (sometimes different) and he’s either nudging her or being really silly…
It kind of annoys me that I fancy this stupid guy who always acts so silly when I see him
I always smile and say all is good with me…
What else can I do – I thought about totally ignoring him…but that’s just childish isn’t it?

Next time he is on his own, ask him how was his weekend or what his plans are for the weekend if it's a Friday. You can usually find out a lot about someone from their answers to this question without committing yourself.. You will know then if it's worth taking any further. Do any of your workmates socialise after work? Maybe suggest to him he comes along to your gathering. Get to know him a bit better.
