The American Company is indeed the parent company of the UK arm, so yes, if the Parent comany fails, the chances are that the UK will be effected.
It may be that the UK arm is profitable in which case there may be a buy outm but personally I doubt it. Very sorry for the people who work there.

it's probably because I rented The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo a month or so ago and was 3 days late taking it back, they've spent 3 first class stamps reminding me to call in and pay the fine and about 6 phone calls to my 1571 mailbox but i very rarely get time to go to the retail park where they are . I didn't mean to cause them financial hardship!
dotty, why not just join one of those postal rental services, and you can keep things as long as you like
