I wouldn't put anything past Bush and his administration. How could he have gotten his 'War on Terrorism' up and running without any terrorists?

I agree with Noth3
and I just think this guy is a complete nutter!!!
even his own people despise him

I agree with Bobbisox when she says this bloke is a complete nutter.
Read between the lines people, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and others like him KNOW that terrorists committed 9/11, and are using psychology to anger and rile their people.
nuffink like the 45 minute weapons of mass destruction then.

what a load of old pony! I'm not surprised at old Dinnerjacket but others give this air time. We spend most of the time saying western governements couldn't organise a pi55 up in a brewery, then some conspiracy cobblerrs comes along and thousands start to give it credence, peeeeerlease!

Hi Stevie and all, I know a lovely Iranian couple who say he is hated in their country by all but the mad Mullahs who actually empower him to stay there
wow that would be horrific if true, but I seriously doubt that something so disastrous could be planned.
I wouldn't necessarily assume he's a nutter just because he's talking nonsense. I think it's quite cynical.
These remarks aren't addressed to the west - they're directed to the people at home who keep him in power. He's saying the things he thinks they want to hear.
Of course he may well just be a nutter.

Either way, not someone who should be in charge of a nuclear weapon.

I think you're right Ludwig. I have no doubt he's saying what the people want to hear. Nutty or not, he's a dangerous man.

I'm not sure the mullahs are that keen on him. He's not a religious hardliner at all, he's a populist. He upset the real hardliners a year or two back by shaking hands with his old schoolteacher - an old woman in chador - on a stage: they were outraged that a male and female should make physical contact in public. I think the mullahs would vote for him ahead of any reformist, but that's about as far as it goes.
