A wonderful case of irony....

I didn't like Maggie at the time - hated her with a passion. However I can look back now, as a fully fledged adult more knowledgable about the workings of the world, and give her praise where its due - as a politician and a forceful woman.

Politics aside - does Lady T merit a state funeral?

I suggest not - because the tax payer will have to fiund it, at a time of serious ecconomic constraint, and why?

She was a Prime Minister - they don't all receive, or heaven forbid deserve a send-off at the tax payers' expense, so why her?
