In 21st century Britain is there a place for 'Travellers' camps?
If ordinary 'Joe Blogs' decided to park his caravan on council land, would that council offer him alternative accommodation if he moved?
What force are the authorities prepared to take to remove these travellers?

Why should we accommodate the wishes of a body of people who don't want to settle down into the community and be treated like and have the obligations of, everybody else, whether they, or some of them, regard themselves as a race with traditions or not?
