This isn't new news though, it first came out a few weeks back, I heard it on the radio.

There isn't a female equivalent of Mohammed, to keep the theme the girls would be named after the women in Mohammed's family (Fatima, Khadijah, Aisha, etc).

R1G, I know several people born here (from the indigenous population) who have called their sons Mohammed (or a variation of same) because they are converts - not immigrants.

..and some of my friends are helping, jno, one couple has four children ... but others have one or two. I know plenty of other people round here who have four or five, and one colleague has seven. Definitely non-Muslims!
