You don't need to worry. The reason why Mohammed and its derivations is the number one name, isn't actually down to an overwhelming influx of Muslims...it's because its an EXTREMELY popular name for male Muslim babies.
I'll break it down thus...if 100 babies are born, and seven of them are Muslim and out of those seven babies, five are called Mohammed (or one of its derivations), an no other name amongst non-Muslims, then the headline is technically correct - but only because there's no western equivalent of 'Mohammed'.
I suppose it used to be 'John' or 'James' but those names fall in and out of fashion. Mohammed doesn't.
So taking those figure, you can say Mohammed is the most popular boy's name in the country, but it stilll only accounts for 5% of all newborns.
