How do I not invite her to my party?
8 Answers
I am having a birthday party and inviting about 10 people from the same year as me, but I have a friend who i dont want to come who is like 2 or 3 years younger than me who will get annoyed that she doesnt get invited. I dont want her to come, as she will just drink FAR too much, and i will end up babysitting her on the night, and I just don't think shes old enough for a party with drink. Thanks :) x x

Are you still in upper school? If that's the case-then she IS too young, and that can be your reason for not inviting her. If there is to be drink-will your parent/s be there? I doubt they will want to be held responsible for an out-of-control underage drinker in their home.

If every parent of every person at the party is aware that your parents are allowing alcohol to be drunk on their premises by under 18s and if every parent of every child that is likely to be drinking said alcohol in your house gives their permission for their child to drink said alcohol, then your parents will avoid prosecution, but any parent that does not give such permission and subsequently a child of the none-consentin parent(s) is susequently found to have become intoxicated from the consumption of alcohol on your parents premises after such sought after permission was declined or refusesd, your parents can be prosecuted.
I didn't read the question properly.... in that case if you or you friend is underage and there is alcohol involved the fact that she drinks too much is a perfect reason to exclude her - and tell her why - it may stop her drinking - silly girl making things unpleasant for others - only has herself to blame.
Yeah but Dotty the word there is CAN, will is another thing entirely as the police would never be doing anything else than banging up kid's parents who hold parties.
I think it'll be difficult to not invite her and have her happy about it to be honest. If she's a real liability then you either have to not invite her, invite her and tell her your parents said only on the condition she drinks NOTHING or invite her and get everyone to keep an eye on her, in any event it's all going to be a bit of a downer one way or the other.
