Replacing Sky digibox with Sky +HD box

Sky has quoted £99 for a new box & an installation fee of £60 and I'm wondering if I could not save money by purchasing the box privately and installing it myself?

As I am not very technically minded is it a relatively easy job to swap one box for the other (i.e unplug & reconnect)?

Any advice or suggestions very welcome.

The setting up of the HD box itself is easy but installing the twin cables from the dish is 'expert' territory.
