I caught this headline on the way in to work:

"Sixteen people were murdered in England and Wales during 2009-10 after police had been informed about concerns over their safety, the police watchdog says."

I was also sickened by the case of the guy who beat that poor toddler to death and had filmed months of abuse towards the toddler on his mobile phone! Throw away the key!

yes sammo, we had the funeral this week of 3 children who died in a house fire about 2 weeks ago in our small town. The mother is still in hospital with possible brain damage due to lack of oxygen. She doesnt even know about her loss yet ! How sad is that
Perhaps we should things in prospective. At least the snow will eventually disappear and we will all have a happy christmas, and not everyone likes football

I agree with jd - the sick sick barstewerd who tortured the little toddler and filmed it. Life sentence is not enough. Life should mean life.
