Is 75 a good age to go ?

So, Cilla Black says she wants to go when she is 75 .

I obviously am not aware as to any health issues she may or may not have , but assuming that she is currently healthy - do you think , that is a strange pronouncement to make ?

It is relative to your mental and physical state at 75 and factors such as ilness and the sort of life you have lived up to that point.
There is a guy in Edinburgh running a marathon at age 75. Equally, for some 75 year olds they are just about hanging in there!

How old is she now? maybe at 60 it seems reasonable but wait till she's 74 and a half!!

75 is no age at all these days - my mum died at nearly 94, I'm hoping she's passed on the long-life gene.

I'm 75 and still getting my end away quite regularly. So, no way am I ready to go.

depends where you mean, i see plenty of folks over 75 in tesco and even more in morrisons, perhaps she means sainsbury's, I assume not many old scousers go there!

75 is not old nowadays, I hope I can hang on a bit longer than that, providing I have no painful illness. Maybe Cilla is having problems talking now. I have wondered how people with facial reconstructions and botox manage when things start to collapse as they get older.

her mother suffered with health and she was making a statement from that. After going out caring i wouldnt want to be old and not be able bodied
