Personally I welcome integration and all of the different foods, spices, clothes and languages it brings with it but I say no to hate crime, not to being forced to change religion. Live and let live or sod off is what I say.

Its ok professing to a particular faith but to actual adhere and follow it to the letter is another matter - and I should know as a) I am a catholic and b) I used to live in Bradford which has the highest % of muslims population outside London - I think.
The muslims I know would run a mile away from Sharia Law

The problem is, rasman that this site is full of people who refuse to see the signs, like those on the early 30's who dismissed anyone warning about Hitler as extremists. They'll just ignore all the signs until one day they wake up and it's their wife/daughter getting 100 lashes for baring a leg. Then they'll demand all us "knuckle draggers" to save them from the tyranny that they created by innaction. "For evil to triumph all it takes is for good men to do nothing" - never been more aposite.

pixi, I don't believe for one moment that anyone is suggesting that all Muslims are terrorists, but nevertheless the fact that some Muslims would be happy to blow us all to smithereens shouldn't be ignored and personally I don't find that threat in the least funny. Just think how you would have roared with laughter if your Muslim husband had been on one of those trains on 7/7, or in the Word Trade Centre on 9/11 as some of my husband's colleagues were. These people are not selective - they'll murder anyone, infidel or not, in the name of Allah. Denying the facts doesn't alter them and it's high time people - all of us - faced the facts - however unsavoury they may find them. Some Muslims living among us want the rest of us dead. Simple. (And yes, I do have Muslim friends).

Rasman, I doubt you'll be banned for your views. I can't see how anyone could claim that objecting to the threat of being blown up is racist. Human I'd call it. :o)
