The tv in the States is starting to put the spotlight on him a bit now (as they do). He appeared on TV and it claimed he still has a few addiction problems. One of the tv companies has paid for him to go into rehab. Hopefully he`ll have the sense to realise this really is his last chance and try to kick his habits.

Hearing that 'radio' voice come out of a homeless person is so incongruous - hopefully he will be getting a new suit, a haircut, and some dental repairs, and he'll be good to go.

Hi smudge! I found that last week cruising utube. I found it very moving too, and replayed the clip a few times to hear that wonderfull voice again and a again. He sounds a lovely ole fellow who should keep his feet on the ground. Good luck to him and his success

I think his Mum (now in her 90's) is a really lovely lady , so it would be wonderful for her to go to her grave knowing the son she gave birth to, hadn't wasted the rest of his life after all......

I also saw on the tele --a clean shaven and smart man, and his mother talking to say how happy she was that he was back in her life
