So in some schools children are to be taught about homosexuality in maths, geography and science lessons as part of a Government-backed drive to "celebrate the gay community". ???????????

The question I ask is 'WHY'?

Certain subjects are hard enough for some children to pick up on now, without the added confusion of including gender issues into therm.

Do you wish your children to be taught this way?

"including gender issues into therm"
Will it include Physics in the science lessons ?
"... children are to be taught about homosexuality in maths."

I suppose a certain amount of geometry is involved, else splitting may occur.

nothing surprises me any more AOG, they won't be happy till we are all a bunch of veggie, weird beard, bandits!

Can't see how Gay propaganda is relevant in Maths.
teaching statistics seems like an excellent idea. The number of people around here who seriously think they will be outnumbered by Muslims in their lifetime suggests the subject has never appeared in schools before.
Yes aog the country is going completely mad I never thought that I would see such changes that have been made in my lifetime.

Could lead to some children worrying that something is wrong with them because they are not 'Gay'.

Yes, I think this country is going completely mad.
Just, turn and face the strain, Whisky.
Don't tell them to grow up and out of it
And no, I wouldn't wish my children to be taught that way.

do you suppose it's anything to do with the fact that the country is being ruled by some ex etonians where I suspect gayness is quite the norm.

/// The number of people around here who seriously think they will be outnumbered by Muslims in their lifetime suggests the subject has never appeared in schools before. ///

Why should it? It is there for all to see.

For your information in some areas they are already outnumbered, as are the indigenous children who are also outnumbered in the classrooms of some schools.
Must be a quiet news day at the Telegraph.

///The lesson plans, spread across the curriculum, will be offered to all schools, which can choose whether or not to make use of them./// does indicate that they are not likely to be used in all schools.

Elsewhere in the article it does point out that LGBT history month has been running since 2005.

The amount of money spent on this is not exactly huge.

Children do need to be aware of alternate lifestyles - mine, still teenagers, have friends who are gay, and also have an uncle who is gay, so why not ?
I don't really see it as 'why not?' - more as 'why?'.
Maths - Robby buggers Johnny. How many children do they produce?

Geography - make a map of the distribution of bottoms in Brighton, and a second map of tops in Manchester.

Science - Design an experiment to see how far Johnny's anus can be inflated. Describe your measurement technique and results achieved.

/// dont know how they will be taught about it in maths and cant see why geography or science has owt to do with it. ///

One of the examples I heard on the radio was, instead of a simple maths problem like ' A man and woman get married, and there are an 'X' number of guests, their wedding cake cost £xxx, and each guest receives a portion, how much does each potion cost?

Under the new teaching method it would read, Two men or two women marry each other in a civil marriage service, and there are number of guests, their wedding cake cost etc etc etc.

The language one got me though, forget your Latin, French, or even German, this is the one to be taught the "LGBT vocabulary".

No you are not on your own in saying "what the hell is that" so I looked it up.
