I was at a club of 100 members and one of the questions we had in a quiz was:
Whose word you could most/least trust amongst the English, the Scots, the Irish, and the Welsh.

We had a fair sprinkling of them all in the audience but probably more were English so it was a bit biased however the results were interesting, especially afterwards when people gave their reasons.

The quiz was to find out who you would rely on the most, or the least , if you had to choose one of the above to work with or do any business with or vote for .
Originally there were about 20 nationallities to choose from but that had been whittled down to the 4 main ones that everyone would have had dealings with.

Ah.........white people - good, brown people - bad.

Is that it ?
it would depend who the Nigerian was and who the Swiss was, wouldn't it? Or are you assuming there's no crime in Switzerland?
Never trust a racist, that's my motto
I trust no one until I know them and that sometimes takes a long time.
oh, I don't know, rojash - with racists you know exactly how they're going to respond... makes them so much easier to swindle.
I think this quiz must have been set not in the racialist way that most of you seem to have taken it, but more in a light hearted humorous way.

So let me enter my answer in the light hearted humorous way.

I would say the Irish are the least trusted, after all isn't it the Irish that tell us there are little people who they call Leprechauns.
The quiz may well have been.............
modellers subsequent answers aren't in the least light-hearted.
And how do you get a definitive answer? As there can't be one, unless the question is worded wrongly.
Is this one of those All Seeing Eye clubs?

I think jake the peg summed it quite well people are perceived to be trustworthy by various means and one of those is accent. W
//Telesales companies know a lot about people's assumptions about people's accents.
Scottish accents are generally trusted as are Yorkshire ones (presumably except by people in Lancashire :c) )
Wales does OK too.
London, and Liverpool both do badly //

The quiz itself was quite light hearted . We had 20 boxes to tick to indicate which regions we found the most reliable to do business. They included the main areas of each country and afterwards we were invited to share our experiences. Which were in many cases hilarious.
However some ABs decided to turn it into a racial and political platform.

jno //it would depend who the Nigerian was and who the Swiss was, wouldn't it? Or are you assuming there's no crime in Switzerland? //
Oh come on jno if you had to choose between a Swiss Bank or a Nigerian Bank what would be your first reaction ? A country with a triple A rating or one that is riddled with corruption .
Put common sense before piety for a change .
"Oh come on jno if you had to choose between a Swiss Bank or a Nigerian Bank"
But you weren't talking about banks, and credit ratings, were you? You were talking about people and racial bias.

We were talking about areas/ regions of people as jno well knows as she said //
// Or are you assuming there's no crime in Switzerland? // And in case you don't know banks and businesses are run by people.
I like many other people received an email from Nigeria , all very official looking , which offerred to put £1 million in my my bank account as they wished to transfer the money to the UK . My commission would have been 10%. Quite a few people people fell for that scam and gave out their bank details. I would assume some ABs would be likely candidates.
