Turning a straight couple away would be the same as a "regular" B+B turning a gay couple away - or have I missed the point? Can an establishment be "Gay only" ,as a "Straight Only" B+B would surely not be allowed?

Why not just tell them where to put their B+B, and give them the one fingered salute as you leave to find somewhere which WILL have you? After all, is anyone in his right mind liable to go back there even if they win their court case?

The only reason for making a fuss is to get money for so called "hurt feelings", nothing else. The fact that the "vexed couple" are purveyors of unnatural sexual practises seems to work in their favour. Funny old world, innit?

I think all our B&B's would be "tolerant" of gay couples, yes.

But I was talking about the specific "gay bars" or the "gay hotel" complex (Legend's), or even specifically lesbian pubs, like the Princess Victoria. We go in all of them quite a lot. You don't have to be gay, even though they label themselves as "gay" establishments.
