This could be a hard nut to crack for some.

Are these remarks made by that supercilious trio racist, and if they are should the 'Top-Gear' trio be axed?

Or are the Mexican woman's accusations a little OTT?

That would be funny
probably a lap time of 3 hours (including a siesta)
I didn't see that particular programme and don't actually watch Top Gear much nowadays.
Part of the 'problem' here is that it is an ambassador's job to complain about things like that, and to maintain the dignity of his country. Not important how he regarded it or how anyone in Mexico regarded it. May also have something to do with whether Top Gear is broadcast in Mexico

I knew this would be a tough nut to crack for some, taking into account their overuse of the word 'racist' and at the same time, their love of Clarkson and crew.

It would be interesting to see if Clarkson and co. would make a similar kind of 'racist' comment, if a car happened to be from India or Africa, and if they did, would they still retain their fan-club?.
My new car is being built in Mexico at the moment - no wonder lead in time is 18-20 weeks.
