/// A spokesperson for Northumbria Police confirmed: ‘A 30-year-old man and a 34-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of voyeurism and have been bailed ///
Isn't there a much more serious charge to be made against these two alleged perverts?
One of taking and producing indecent images and circulating them on a Gay Web Site.
Oh, I don't thinks that there's much that counts as *indecent* that doesn't have its niche on the internet...
These men have obviously committed an offence and for that they are being charged.......the fact that the images appeared on a gay web site is neither here nor there.
And the fact that one of the 'victims' saw himself on the web-site may indicate that he was more bothered by the manner the photographs were taken rather than where they appeared ?
There were lots of similar incidents in the Royal Commonwealth Pool in Edinburgh...the sauna was even advertised (not by the RCP) in gay news... at one point there were undercover police in saunas..I want to say plain clothes but NO clothes would be more accurate ....lol.... Pool now closed for refurb and a changing Village not seperate changing for m/f is planned should help cut out problems in changing..do not know about saunas..perhaps mixed AND have to wear costumes would be the answer !
/// the fact that the images appeared on a gay web site is neither here nor there.///
I beg to differ, as a straight male, first I would have every objection about being photographed in the changing rooms, but then to find out those photos appeared on a gay web site would open up a load more implications.
But the 'victim' who saw himself on the gay web site must have also been gay, to be surfing a gay website, so perhaps it didn't matter to him.
I was going to ask if your issue was with the images being posted on the web per se - or on a gay site, but you have already answwered it.
Personally, I would feel my privacy invaded, but I wouldn;t be concerned about being posted on a gay website - anyone who knows me well enough for it to matter knows my sexuality - and anyone else's opnion is of no consequence.
Sing everyone - (to the tune of 'Doncha' by The Pussycat Dolls - "Don't you wish AOG was secure like me .. don't you wish AOG didn't care like me ... DONCHA!!!"
