USA defends Israel at the (so called)UN

I see Barack Obama has seen the light and defended the state of Israel against anti-semitic nations ,who thought to denigrate Israel.I did think Obama was a bit nutty,but he has redeemed himself here.

per TheDodge - the Israeli position could be seen as anti-semitic. Most of the Israeli settlers were European/Russian - you do realise that the Palestinians are Semites, right?

I have always wondered if Israel is a small USA or USA a bigger Israel.

USA has a far bigger Muslim population than Israel (and probably a Jewish population too) I will go and see if there are figures.

USA - 6.5 mln Jewish, Muslims unknown but low of 1.3 mln, high of over 7 mln, consensus of 5 mln.

UK 350k on Jewish, and 2.9 mln Muslims (4%)

I really do think it is time for someone to speak up on behalf of the Palestinians,is it not a fact that Israel is guilty of international theft ? How long are they going to help themselves to Palestilian land ? Thieves & robbers I say.Ron.

whiskeryron,i know where you are coming from...settle the israeli/palestine problem and you solve 90% of the problems in that region.Where the hell is Tony Blair?I thought he was supposed to be sorting out the middle east...Doesnt seem to be doing a good job so far...
