On the continent (well, definitely in Spain and Portugal) you can get Ibuprofen over the counter in 600mg tablets.

I always stock up when I'm there (a box of 30 is about 3 Euros!!).

3 of those takes the pain away.

You can't p!ss about with painkillers.

If you want the pain to go away ... make sure it goes away.

In Spanish pharmacies, they tell you to take 3 tablets (yes, 1800mg), 4 times a day!

Also good for ladies' "once a month" pains.

Maybe that was too much information.

agree jj, UK is very careful - I enquired about buying painkillers on line once, they said I could only order one box (32) a month. OK fine, I can just walk into every chemist in town and buy a box from each then!
