now.. that is class !
I've just posted on a thread about having trouble getting to sleep. The images you've just made me look at certainly won't help!
;-)

However, while those outfits exude 'vulgarity' they're not as ridiculous as some of those seen at Royal Ascot!

Are you sure it isn't a gypsy Rose Lee lookalike competition?
Notice the difference in body size though chris
That, Sir Alec, is most definitely an insult to the memory of Gypsy Rose Lee!

Sorry Chris, I'd never seen a picture of her. I saw Natalie Wood play her and she was beautiful.
Oh dear!!

I am a jeans, trainers and T shirts person as well. I am really struggling with what to wear for a wedding later this year. I don't possess anything remotely suitable.

Those outfits have given me some really good tips on what not to choose though!!!!!

I wonder if any of those ladies looked in a mirror!

I think the most important thing is to chose the outfit you feel comfortable in, and layers will help you with temperature change too.
It will definitely be trousers and a top of some sort. Wide leg cream linen trousers and a floaty top of some type or another. Definitely not a dress or a skirt. Shoes will prove a problem. I will wear a respectable pair to the church and then don some Birkenstocks for the rest of the day. I do have some quite pretty ones. I will take a wrap or something in case of cold!!

I don't like weddings!!
Black and cream always looks classy, especially if you're tall, which I gather you are from the 'Lofty'. I am too short for wide leg trousers and always plump for long skirts.
