So what are you planning for the long Easter break?

Do you bother with Easter eggs? We'll probably stock up on Choccies but I think the eggs are a total waste of money.

Easter Monday for us is a repetition of Christmas Day with Roast Turkey, all the trimmings and copious amounts of Vino, followed by whatever glorious technicolour/muscial/biblical repeats are being aired on TV.

How about you?

Ooh Vibes, maybe the ladies of AB will dress as bunny rabbits just for the occasion...

Nice one, Pixi. You can't beat just chilling.
I think we're just going to take it easy and relax as it'll be the first weekend we'll have had nothing to do in a while, I'm quite looking forward to it.

I'm undecided about easter egg purchases though.. I'm tempted by a baileys one I've seen for myself but I want it to be reduced!
Question Author
Bunny girls I meant to say.

A Baileys egg does sound rather yummy. I did make some Baileys truffles a while back - haven't got a scooby what I've done with the recipe.
work, work and more work. I was hoping to get the weekend off as it would be an opportunity to visit our sonin London, but so many are already off that I may have to work right through from Friday to Thursday.
We dont bother with Easter eggs. I do a special lunch or tea.

Probably the same rubbish on TV as at Christmas

hmmmm, sexy! Trigs is going to love this!

I'm hoping for a quiet weekend with some good weather so I can get on with the garden. I'll get the kids some eggs but that's about it.
Making your own truffles is committment to the cause... I am far too lazy alas... I don't even cook when it's just me on my own, I never see the point. (Not that I cook much when I'm not on my own but then I'm not a very good cook so it's not too suprising!)

TOH - I was toying with the idea of working myself - all that O/T pay would be nice, but I don't want to miss out on a family dinner on the Monday.

BM - it would be nice to spend a little time in the garden and catch some rays - as long as we don't have typical Bank Holiday weather.

CD - I must admit, it's much easier to buy things like that and fiddle around making truffles. Once you've forked out for the ingredients, you're no better off.
I am looking forward to the Easter break.

We usually dine on fish on the Good Friday and I shall be gorging myself silly on chocolates and I've brought a little one for my granddaughter.
Not to mention the long break from work, pure bliss!
I hope the weather is nice as it is today.

Let's hope so, funny. :-)
I have never got my kids an Easter egg....

Don't know what we'll be doing yet....Not much probably...
Question Author
Don't blame you, mate. If I don't sacrifice my time in the name of extra pay, I'll be doing as little as is humanly possible :-)
my kids are not really into chocolate and the one that is cant cope with the shape of easter egg so I will probably buy him some sweets, nothing special plnned, if the weather is nice probably sit in the garden watching the kids going mental on the trampoline
Bought small eggs for younger neices and nephews. Got cards for parents and brothers families. Will probably have a gathering at some point.
Question Author
That sounds like fun, Cazzz. Will you be joining them on the "bounceline"?

;-)
i'm haggis bashing over Easter, busy time of year for us
On friday, I finish for two weeks. I did consider decorating and we've got the usual family visit to Glasgow.. I've decided to give the decorating a miss and just spend some quality time with the shorties.
Will this come up in Latest posts
